Immunoprecipitation:DAPK3/ZIPK AntibodyNBP3-29922] -Detection of human ZIPK by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP; 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-ZIPK antibody NBP3-29922 (lot NBP3-29922-1) used for IP at 6 µg/mg lysate. ZIPK was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-ZIPK antibody BL15404. For blotting immunoprecipitated ZIPK, was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: DAPK3/ZIPK

DAPK3, a DAPK type protein kinase, is functions in apoptotic signaling and also is believed to function in coordination of specific transcription and splicing events. DAPK3 contains a leucine zipper motif at its C terminus in addition to the N terminal kinase domain. DAPK3 binds to ATF4, a member of the activating transcription factor/cyclic AMP-responsive element-binding protein (ATF/CREB) family.
