The R&D Systems reconstitution calculator enables you to calculate the volume of a reagent to reconstitute your vial. Enter the mass of your compound and the desired concentration of your final solution and press calculate.
An example calculation to reconstitute your vial using the reconstitution calculator
- Enter 10 into the Desired Reconstitution Concentration box and select the correct unit (microgram/milliliter)
- Enter 2 into the Mass box and select the correct unit (microgram)
- Press calculate
- The Volume box will display an answer of 0.2 milliliter (200 microliters)
