Host Species
R&D Systems offers custom antibody development in many host species. The most common species include mouse, rat, rabbit, goat, sheep, chicken, and llama (camelid). Select your host species upon the goals of your project or ask us to recommend a host for antibody production based upon your target and your application.
Tailored Protocols

Custom Monoclonal Antibody Production
At R&D Systems, we’ve generated more than 15,000 hybridomas for our catalog. We can generate up to 40 hybridomas per fusion which gives you flexibility to find the clone that actually works in your application. Our custom monoclonal antibody production process includes:

We offer polyclonal development in llamas, goats, sheep, or rabbits and can convert to recombinant monoclonal antibodies if the need arises to secure long term supply. Custom Llama (Camelid) and Recombinant Monoclonal Antibody Production
