METTL11A, also named N-terminal RCC1 methyltransferase (NRMT), is an alpha-N-methyltransferase that methylates the N-terminal amino group of target proteins containing the N-terminal motif [Ala/Pro/Ser]-Pro-Lys when the initiator Met is cleaved.
