eEF-2 Lysates

EF-2 is a GTP-binding protein that plays an essential role in protein synthesis. It catalyzes the translocation of the two tRNAs and the mRNA after peptidyl transfer on the 80S ribosome. Modification of eEF-2 by either ADP-ribosylation or by phosphorylation by eEF-2 kinase stops translation.
