GTF3A Lysates

The GTF3A gene encodes a zinc finger protein with nine Cis(2)-His(2) domains that interacts with the internal control region (ICR) of approximately 50 bases within 5S RNA genes. This is where it works as a RNA polymerase III transcription factor to induce transcription of the 5S rRNA genes. The proteins coded by the GTF3A gene also play a role in regulating the stability of transcription of other genes.
