PXDN Proteins and Enzymes

PXDN, also known as Peroxidasin Homolog (Drosophila), is a 165kDa 1479 amino acid protein. The primary function of PXDN is to aid in the metabolism of H(2)O(2). Current research on PXDN is being conducted in relation to melanoma, glaucoma, kidney disease, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, glioblastoma and prostatitis. PXDN is known to interact with GRB2, TRAF4 and BNIPL.
