SLC12A8 cDNA Clones

SLC12A8 is thought to be a candidate for psoriasis susceptibility. The transported substrates of SLC12A8 are as yet unknown, but it may function as a polyamine transporter. Intracellular polyamine plays a key role in cell proliferation. Several alternatively spliced transcript variants of SLC12A8 have been described.
