YM1/Chitinase 3-like 3 ELISA Kits

YM1, also known as Chitinase 3-like 3 and ECF-L, is a secreted lectin that binds saccharides, such as glucosamine, galactosamine, chitin, and heparin, with a free amino group. The mature protein is 377 amino acids in length with a predicted molecular weight of approximately 44.5 kDa. YM1/Chitinase 3-like 3 is primarily produced by macrophages and may play a role in inflammation and allergy. YM1/Chitinase 3-like 3 shares homology with other chitinase proteins, but lacks enzymatic activity.
