Crk belongs to a family of adaptor molecules that are widely expressed in numerous tissues. It was originally isolated from a chicken tumor sample, and despite lacking enzymatic activity, this protein is involved in many signal transduction pathways leading to phosphorylation of multiple proteins. Crk forms multi protein complexes via it’s SH2 and SH3 domains leading to activation of downstream molecules involved in growth, differentiation, cell adhesion and migration.

Scientific Data Images for Human Crk Antibody
Detection of Human Crk by Western Blot.
Western blot shows lysates of BaF3 mouse pro-B cell line, NS0 mouse myeloma cell line, K562 human chronic myelogenous leukemia cell line, and HeLa human cervical epithelial carcinoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human Crk Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF4316) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Sheep IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF016). A specific band was detected for Crk at approximately 50 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.Applications for Human Crk Antibody
