Recombinant Human HAI‑2A (Catalog # 1106-PI) was serially diluted and captured by Mouse Anti-Human HAI‑2 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB1106) coated on a Clear Polystyrene Microplate (Catalog # DY990). Goat Anti-Human HAI‑2 Antigen Affinity-purified Polyclonal Antibody (Catalog # AF1106) was biotinylated and incubated with the protein captured on the plate. Detection of the standard curve was achieved by incubating Streptavidin-HRP (Catalog # DY998)

Background: HAI-2

HGF Activator Inhibitor type II (HAI-2), also known as placental bikunin, is a Kunitz-type protease inhibitor. It is a type I membrane protein containing 2 Kunitz inhibitor domains in its extracellular region. In mouse, at least three isoforms of HAI-2 exist as a result of alternative splicing. Isoforms 2 and 3, also known as HAI-2B and HAI-2C, respectively, are both missing the first amino-terminal Kunitz inhibitor domain.
