Endothelin ETA Receptor Antagonists

The endothelin_A receptor (ET_A receptor) is a member of the endothelin receptor group of G-protein-coupled receptors that also includes ET_B. They are located primarily in the vascular smooth muscle where they play a role in vasoconstriction and cell proliferation. The human ET_A receptor gene has been localized to chromosome 4 (4q31.22).
