Biological Activity

BMS 493 is a pan-retinoic acid receptor (pan-RAR) inverse agonist. Enhances nuclear corepressor (NCoR) interaction with RARs. Binding induces analogous conformational changes in all RAR types (RARα, RARβ and RARγ).
