Cell Activation Cocktail 500X contains the following compounds: Monensin sodium salt (1.5 mM), Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (0.0405 mM) and Ionomycin calcium salt (0.67 mM). Cocktail is provided as 1 ml of 500X concentrate in ethanol.

    This product was used to perform a TH17 differentiation assay using a flow cytometry analysis afterwards. This cocktail has made cell activation easier and my experimental preparation move along much faster.

    Always use it at 1X.
    Tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) were isolated from mouse liver tumors and then stimulated with 1X cell activation cocktail (diluted in RPMI media). After 5 hour activation, cytokine production on the TILs was measured via flow cytometry. Example picture shows CD107A expression before and after activation.
