Biological Activity
Complement inhibitor; binds C3 inhibiting proteolytic cleavage by C3 convertase (IC50 = 28 μM) and activation of classical and alternative complement pathways (IC50 values are 63 and 12 μM respectively). Prolongs graft survival and reduces hyperacute rejection of ex vivo pig kidneys perfused with human blood and inhibits in vivo heparin/protamine-induced complement activation in baboons. Control peptide available (Cat. No. 3796).

Molarity Calculator
Calculate the mass, volume or concentration required for a solution

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)
An example of a molarity calculation using the molarity calculator:
What is the mass of compound required to make a 10 mM stock solution in 10 ml of water given that the molecular weight of the compound is 197.13 g/mol?
