Immunoprecipitation:DPP3 AntibodyNBP3-29912] -Detection of human DPP3 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (0.5 or 1.0 mg per IP reaction; 20% of IP loaded) from 293T cells prepared using NETN lysis buffer. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-DPP3 antibody NBP3-29912 (lot NBP3-29912-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. DPP3 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-DPP3.. For blotting immunoprecipitated DPP3, NBP3-29912 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

Background: DPP3

DPP3 encodes a protein that is a member of the S9B family in clan SC of the serine proteases. This cytoplasmic protein binds a single zinc ion with its zinc-binding motif (HELLGH) and has post-proline dipeptidyl aminopeptidase activity, cleaving Xaa-Pro dipeptides from the N-termini of proteins. Increased activity of this protein is associated with endometrial and ovarian cancers. Alternate transcriptional splice variants have been characterized. [provided by RefSeq]
