Product Specifications

Immunogen

The original antibody was generated by using a synthetic heptapeptide from the amino terminus of the beta chain in human fibrin as an immunogen. (Uniprot# P02675)

Specificity

This antibody selectively binds to the amino-terminus of the fibrin beta-chain that becomes exposed after cleavage of fibrinopeptide B by thrombin.

Monoclonal

Host

Rabbit

Isotype

IgG

Description

This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format for improved compatibility with existing reagents assays and techniques.

Immunocytochemistry /Immunofluorescence: Fibrin beta-chain Antibody (59D8) - Chimeric - BSA Free [NBP3-43555] - Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed HepG2 cells on Shi-fix coverslips stained with NBP3-43555 (1:100 dilution) for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody (1:1000 dilution), showing cytoplasmic staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show, from left-right, top-bottom, NBP3-43555, DAPI, merged channels and an isotype control. The isotype control was an unknown specificity antibody followed by staining with Alexa Fluor 488 secondary antibody.

Western Blot: Fibrin beta-chain Antibody (59D8) - Chimeric - BSA Free [NBP3-43555] - Human liver (A), placenta (B), and serum (C) tissue lysates (35ug protein in RIPA buffer) were resolved via SDS-PAGE, and the subsequent blots were probed with NBP3-43555 at 0.01ug/ml before detection using an anti-rabbit secondary antibody. A primary incubation of 1 hour was used, and proteins were detected by chemiluminescence.
