Biological Activity

Fluo-4 AM is a cell-permeable, fluorescent Ca2+ indicator (Kd Ca2+ = 345 nM). Displays no resting signal and 100-fold increase in emission intensity upon Ca2+ binding. Excitation/emission λ 494/506 nm.

It is recommended to prepare stock solutions in DMSO.
