Ginkgolic Acid
Chemical Name: 2-Hydroxy-6-(8Z)-8-pentadecenylbenzoic acid
Purity: ≥97%
Biological Activity
Ginkgolic Acid is an inhibitor of SUMOylation (IC50 = 3 μM). Directly binds E1 and inhibits formation of E1-SUMO intermediate. Protects against amyloid β-induced impairment of neurotransmission and synaptic plasticity. Also suppresses CD44 and MMP14 expression in breast cancer cells, eliminating cancer stem cells and inhibiting tumorigenesis.Technical Data
