Catalog Number: 0911
Alternate Names: Glyburide
Chemical Name: 5-Chloro-N-[2-[4-[[[(Cylcohexylamino)carbonyl]amino]sulphonyl]phenyl]ethyl]-2-methoxybenzamide
Biological Activity
ATP-dependent K+ channel (Kir6, KATP) and CFTR Cl- channel blocker. Inhibits Kir6 currents in the pancreas, causing an increase in intracellular Ca2+ and insulin secretion. Inhibits recombinant CFTR Cl- channels with an IC50 of 20 μM.

Molarity Calculator
Calculate the mass, volume or concentration required for a solution

The molarity calculator is based on the following equation:

Mass (g) = Concentration (mol/L) x Volume (L) x Molecular Weight (g/mol)
An example of a molarity calculation using the molarity calculator:
What is the mass of compound required to make a 10 mM stock solution in 10 ml of water given that the molecular weight of the compound is 197.13 g/mol?
