GSK 2256098 is a potent, reversible and ATP-competitive focal adhesion kinase (FAK) inhibitor (IC₅₀ values are 8.5 nM, 12 nM and 15 nM in U87MG, A549 and OVCAR8 cell lines respectively). Inhibits Y397 phosphorylation and motility, growth and survival of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma cells.
