Western Blot: GSK-3 alpha/beta [p Ser9] Antibody [NB300-741]
Western Blot: GSK3 alpha/beta [p Ser9] Antibody [NB300-741] - Western blot of rat cortex lysate showing specific immunolabeling of the ~46k GSK3 beta protein phosphorylated at Ser9 (control). Immunolabeling is blocked by the phospho-peptide (peptide) used as antigen but not by the corresponding dephosphopeptide (not shown).Applications for GSK-3 alpha/beta [p Ser9] Antibody - Azide Free

FAQs for GSK-3 alpha/beta [p Ser9] Antibody - Azide Free
-
Q: Has NB300-741 been validated on Drosophila melanogaster?
A: This has not yet been validated on Drosophila samples. If you would be interested in testing this novel species, please take a look at our Innovators Reward Program.
-
Q: Is the immunogen derived from GSK3 beta or GSK3 alpha? If it is derived from GSK3 beta, is the gene GSK3A? Or the gene name should be GSK3B?
A: Our GSK-3 alpha/beta (pSer9) antibody with catalogue number NB300-741 was raised against a phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding the phospho-Ser9 residue of human GSK3 beta. The antibody is specific for the ~46kDa GSK3 beta protein phosphorylated at Ser9, but it also weakly labels the ~51kDa GSK3 alpha protein due to the high degree of homology between the two isoforms.
