HEPES (10 mM) is used to maintain pH 7.4 in the experimental buffer for Ca2+ imaging, consisting of 137 mM NaCl, 5.4 mM KCl, 1 mM CaCl2, 1 mM MgCl2 and 10 mM glucose.
Used at 20 mmol/L in DMEM buffer for primary cell culture
Used to buffer Krebs buffer for pressure myography. Good performance, maintained pH without any problem. I would use it again.
Additive in cell culture media
HEPES used in solutions, good pH buffer.
