The product is shipped with dry ice or equivalent. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature recommended below.
Stability & Storage
Store unopened vial at -80 °C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Once thawed, aliquot antibody in small volumes prior to freezing.

Background: UFM1

The ubiquitin-like UFM1 acts similar to ubiquitin and is conjugated to as of yet unidentified proteins in HEK cells and various mouse tissues. UFM1 is conserved in metazoan and plants, but not yeast.  The functions or biochemical consequences UFM1 conjugation to proteins are not yet known.
