Primary human atrial cardiomyocytes were patched to analyze mean current-voltage relationships of pacemaker current (If) before and after ivabradine superfusion (1 μmol/L, 7 min). Ivabradine significantly reduced pacemaker current density (pA/pF) from − 80 to − 130 mV (shown in Image).
