Immunoprecipitation:KCC3/SLC12A6 AntibodyNBP3-29424] -Detection of human KCC3 by western blot of immunoprecipitates. Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP; 20% of IP loaded) prepared using RIPA buffer from Jurkat cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-KCC3 antibody NBP3-29424 (lot NBP3-29424-1) used for IP at 6 µg per reaction. KCC3 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-KCC3 antibody for blotting immunoprecipitated KCC3, A304-409A-1 was used at 1 µg/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: KCC3/SLC12A6

SLC12A6 is a member of the K-Cl cotransporter (KCC) family. K-Cl cotransporters are integral membrane proteins that lower intracellular chloride concentrations below the electrochemical equilibrium potential. The proteins encoded by this gene are activated by cell swelling induced by hypotonic conditions. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. Mutations in this gene are associated with agenesis of the corpus callosum with peripheral neuropathy. [provided by RefSeq]
