Product Description

Megestrol Acetate is a synthetic progesterone analog. Dose-dependently inhibits growth of HepG2 cells (IC₅₀ = 260 μM) in vitro and in vivo and reduces tumor volume. High dosages improve weight gain in tumor-bearing nude mice. Orally bioavailable.
