Product Description

MitoBoronic acid (MitoB) is a ratiometric mass spectrometry mitochondrial hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) probe. MitoBoronic acid is taken up into cells and accumulates inside the mitochondrial matrix where it reacts to H₂O₂ to be converted in MitoP. Measurement of MitoB/MitoP ratio by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) is an indicator of the mitochondrial matrix H₂O₂ concentration. This method can be used in vitro and in vivo.
