SKF 82958 hydrobromide is a D₁ agonist. Increases renal blood flow in animal models and promotes contralateral rotation in rats with unilateral lesions of the substantia nigra. Also augments GABA_B inhibitory post-synaptic potentials (ipsp) in ventral tegmental area in brain slices.
