Immunoprecipitation: ZNRF2 Antibody [NBP1-28697] - Samples: Whole cell lysate (1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) from HeLa cells. Antibodies: Affinity purified rabbit anti-ZNRF2 antibody NBP1-28697 used for IP at 10 ug/mg lysate. ZNRF2 was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-ZNRF2 antibody NBP1-28715, which recognizes a downstream epitope. For blotting immunoprecipitated ZNRF2, NBP1-28715 was used at 1 ug/ml. Detection: Chemiluminescence with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

Background: ZNRF2

Zinc- and RING- finger 2 (ZNRF2) is suggested to play a role in the establisment and maintenance of neuronal transmission and plasticity via its ubiquitin ligase activity. E3 ubiquitin ligases accept ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then directly transfer the ubiquitin to targeted substrates.
