AC1 Proteins and Enzymes

AC1, or Chromosome 4 Open Reading Frame 6, consists of a 93 amino acid isoform that is 10 kDa, and is located in neuroblastoma, though its exact function within the neuroblastoma is still a focus of research. Current research is being conducted on the relationship between AC1 and several diseases, including differentiating neuroblastoma and Ellis-Van Creveld Syndrome. The protein is not known to interact with any other proteins, though it is linked to the development of the nervous system.
