ACF1 Proteins and Enzymes

ACF1/BAZ1A is a subunit of the ACF chromatin-remodeling complex and the ISWI CHRAC remodeling complex. In the ACF complex, ACF1/BAZ1A functions to influence the nucleosome remodeling activity of the SNF2h ATPase. As part of the CHRAC complex, ACF1/BAZ1A may function to target CHRAC to heterochromatin.
