Cadherin-6/KCAD Proteins and Enzymes

Cadherin-6, also known as KCAD or K-Cadherin, is a 110-120 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the classical Cadherin superfamily of calcium-dependent adhesion molecules. Cadherin-6 interacts homotypically as well as heterotypically with Cadherin-9 and more weakly with Cadherins-7, -10, and -14.
