IGSF1 is a gene that codes for a protein that works as a coreceptor in inhibin signaling and antagonizes activing A signaling and is necessary to control the effect of inhibin B during transcription, and is expressed highly in the pancreas, testis, and fetal liver, with a weaker expression in the heart, prostate, and small intestine.
