PTP kappa (PTPRK)is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. The family comprises at least 37 proteins, characterized by a catalytic phosphatase domain of approximately 240 amino acids, and includes both transmembrane and cytosolic enzymes.
