Detection of Human Musashi-1 by Western Blot.

Western blot shows lysates of SH-SY5Y human neuroblastoma cell line. PVDF membrane was probed with 1 µg/mL of Human Musashi-1 Monoclonal Antibody (Catalog # MAB2628) followed by HRP-conjugated Anti-Mouse IgG Secondary Antibody (Catalog # HAF007). A specific band was detected for Musashi-1 at approximately 40 kDa (as indicated). This experiment was conducted under reducing conditions and using Immunoblot Buffer Group 1.

Background: Musashi-1

Musashi-1 is an RNA-binding protein that is expressed in the developing central nervous system. Expression is highest in proliferating multipotent neural precursor cells and decreases during neuronal differentiation (1, 2).
