PGC-1beta was also immunoprecipitated by rabbit anti-PGC-1beta antibody NBP1-28721, which recognizes an upstream epitope. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A and B).

Background: PGC1 beta

Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma coactivator 1-beta (PGC-1beta) is a member of a family of transcriptional coactivators that play a role in metabolism and whole-body homeostasis. PGC-1beta has been shown to be a co-activator of the estrogen receptor alpha, glucocorticoid receptor, and the nuclear respiratory factor 1 (NRF1). Additionally PGC-1beta is suggested to be integral to mitochondrial function and glucose metabolism.
