Product Specifications
Immunogen
RCAN1 synthetic peptide (coupled to carrier protein) corresponds to amino acids from the central region of human RCAN1S (isoform 2). This sequence is highly conserved in rat and mouse RCAN1, and this sequence is found in all four isoforms of RCAN1. In addition, this sequence has significant homology to RCAN2 and RCAN3. [UniProt# P53805]
Specificity
The antibody detects several isoforms of RCAN1 on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of mouse C2C12, rat PC12, and human Jurkat cells. The predominate isoform detected is the 38 kDa RCAN1L, but the antibody may also detect RCAN2 and RCAN3.

Scientific Data Images for RCAN1 Antibody
Western Blot: RCAN1 Antibody [NBP3-23360] -
Western Blot: RCAN1 Antibody [NBP3-23360] - Western blot analysis of RCAN1 expression in human Jurkat (lanes 1 & 4), mouse C2C12 (lanes 2 & 5), and rat PC12 (lanes 3 & 6). The blot was probed with rabbit polyclonal anti-RCAN1 (C-terminus) at 1:1000 and anti-RCAN1 (a.a. 132-140) at 1:500.Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: RCAN1 Antibody [NBP3-23360] -
Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence: RCAN1 Antibody [NBP3-23360] - Immunocytochemical labeling of RCAN1 in aldehyde-fixed NGF-differentiated PC12 cells. The cells were labeled with rabbit polyclonal anti-RCAN1 (C-terminus) (NBP3-23371) and anti-RCAN1 (a.a. 132-140) (NBP3-23360) antibodies (Left side). These antibodies were also used in the presence (Right side) of blocking peptide. The antibodies were detected using appropriate secondary antibody conjugated to DyLight(R) 594.Applications for RCAN1 Antibody
