Immunoprecipitation: RFP Antibody [NBP2-19302]
Immunoprecipitation: RFP Antibody [NBP2-19302] - RFP antibody Immunoprecipitation of RFP-tagged protein. HeLa transfected lysates were subjected to immunoprecipitation using (B) normal rabbit IgG or (C) 2.5 ug of anti-RFP antibody. (A) Input, 15ug of HeLa transfected lysate. The precipitated protein was detecteddiluted at 1:10000.Western Blot: RFP Antibody [NBP2-19302] -
Western Blot: RFP Antibody [NBP2-19302] - Non-transfected (-) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts (30 ug) were separated by 12% SDS-PAGE, and the membrane was blotted with RFP antibody (NBP2-19302) diluted at 1:10000. The HRP-conjugated anti-rabbit IgG antibody was used to detect the primary antibody.Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: RFP Antibody [NBP2-19302] -
RFP antibody detects RFP protein at by immunofluorescent analysis.Sample: RFP tagged protein transfected HeLa cells were fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde at RT for 15 min.
Green: RFP protein stained by RFP antibody (NBP2-19302) diluted at 1:5000.
Red: RFP is expressed in the RFP-fusion protein tranfected cell.
Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining.
The cell of merger panel with no RFP expressed as a negative control.

FAQs for RFP Antibody
-
Q: Is this antibody (NBP2-19302) also working against tdTomato? I would like to use antibody for Immunohistochemistry or Immunofluorescence.
A:
NBP2-19302 has never been tested for cross-reactivity to dsRed derivatives. NBP2-19302 will most likely cross-react though as TdTomato and dsRed are over 90% similar. As you need an antibody for IHC, I do recommend NBP2-19302, as though it has never been tested in tissues, it does work well on cells. You would be eligible for our Innovator's Reward program.
