Biological Activity
7-Aminoactinomycin D is a fluorescent DNA stain. G-C base-specific DNA intercalator that forms stable complexes with DNA. Suitable for use in flow cytometry. Detects apoptotic cells. May be used in combination with FITC (Cat. No. 5440) or phycoerythrin (PE). Fluorescent analogue of actinomycin D (Cat. No. 1229). Excitation/emission maxima (λ) = 488/655 nm.Technical Data
