FAQs for Mouse Brain Whole Tissue Lysate (Adult Whole Normal)
-
Q: Can this product be used as a positive control for anti-GluR2 (C-Term) and anti-GluR3 (N-term) antibodies?
A: We haven't tested these lysates for the specific expression of any single target, but I would expect GLUR2 and GLUR3 to be present. The only concern I have is how highly expressed these proteins would be in these samples and if they're abundant enough to serve as a good positive control. The donors for NB820-59657 vary, and you may see some change in signal if you were to probe multiple lots. I think that the best positive control (depending on your experiment) may be an over-expression lysate or recombinant protein.
