CBR 5884 is a phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase (PHGDH) inhibitor (IC₅₀ = 33 μM). Decreases de novo serine synthesis in cancer cells. Inhibits proliferation of cancer cell lines having high PHGDH expression levels.
