Background: CCL26-like/Eotaxin-3-like

CCL26-like/Eotaxin-3-like is the rat ortholog of human CCL26. It is 94 amino acids (aa) in length with a predicted molecular weight of 8.5 kDa. CCL26-like shares 48% aa sequence identity with human CCL26. Similar to human CCL26, it is presumed that CCL26-like/Eotaxin-3-like activates CCR3 and is chemotactic for eosinophils and basophils.
