Flow Cytometry: CD200R1 Antibody (OX108) - Chimeric [NBP2-52642] - Flow-cytometry using anti-CD200R antibody OX108 (NBP2-52642). Human leukocytes were stained with an isotype control (NBP2-52638, panel A) or the rabbit-chimeric version of OX108 (NBP2-52642, panel B) at a concentration of 1 ug/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a AF488 conjugated donkey anti-rabbit antibody and cells analysed on a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.

Background: CD200R1

CD200R encodes a receptor for the OX-2 membrane glycoprotein. Both the receptor and substrate are cell surface glycoproteins containing two immunoglobulin-like domains. This receptor is restricted to the surfaces of myeloid lineage cells and the receptor-substrate interaction may function as a myeloid downregulatory signal. Mouse studies of a related gene suggest that this interaction may control myeloid function in a tissue-specific manner. Alternative splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants.
