Western Blot: Claspin Antibody [NB100-248] - Whole cell lysate from HeLa (5, 15 and 50 ug for WB; 1 mg for IP, 20% of IP loaded) and 293T (T; 50 ug) cells. Affinity purified rabbit anti-Claspin antibody NB100-248 (lot number 2) used for WB at 0.1 ug/ml (A) and 1 ug/ml (B) and used for IP at 6 ug/mg lysate. Claspin was also immunoprecipitated by a previous lot (lot number 1) of this antibody. Detection: Chemiluminescence with exposure times of 30 seconds (A) and 10 seconds (B).

Background: Claspin

Claspin is a cell cycle regulated protein. It plays a critical role in replication checkpoint control and interacts with the checkpoint proteins ATR and Rad9. It also associates with Chk1, but only following replication stress or other types of DNA damage.
