Western Blot: CRIPTO Antibody (JE48-67) [NBP3-32220] - Western blot analysis of CRIPTO on NCCIT cell lysates with Rabbit anti-CRIPTO antibody (NBP3-32220) at 1/1,000 dilution.

Lysates/proteins at 20 ug/Lane.

Predicted band size: 21 kDa
Observed band size: 21 kDa

Exposure time: 1 minute;

4-20% SDS-PAGE gel.

Proteins were transferred to a PVDF membrane and blocked with 5% NFDM/TBST for 1 hour at room temperature. The primary antibody (NBP3-32220) at 1/1,000 dilution was used in 5% NFDM/TBST at room temperature for 2 hours. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG - HRP Secondary Antibody at 1:100,000 dilution was used for 1 hour at room temperature.

Background: Cripto

Teratocarcinoma-derived growth factor 1 (TDGF1), also known as CRIPTO, is expressed both in ES cells and during the early phases of embryo development. During development, CRIPTO is thought to play a role in the determination of the epiblastic cells that subsequently give rise to the mesoderm. In adults, it is reactivated in a wide range of epithelial cancers.

CRIPTO-1 antibodies are useful tools for studying embryonic development and certian cancers.
