Product Specifications
Immunogen
The original antibody was generated by immunizing mice with recombinant protein DOG1/TMEM16A. (Uniprot# Q5XXA6)
Specificity
The antibody is specific for DOG1/TMEM16A. DOG1/TMEM16A is a calcium-activated chloride channel (CaCC) which plays a role in the transepithelial anion transport and smooth muscle contraction. It is required for the normal functioning of the interstitial cells of Cajal (ICCs) which generate electrical pacemaker activity in gastrointestinal smooth muscles and it acts as a major contributor to basal and stimulated chloride conductance in airway epithelial cells and plays an important role in tracheal cartilage development.
Clonality
Monoclonal
Host
Rabbit
Isotype
IgG
Description
This chimeric rabbit antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG2b format for improved compatibility with existing reagents assays and techniques.

Immunocytochemistry/ Immunofluorescence: DOG1/TMEM16A Antibody (19F2) - Chimeric - BSA Free [NBP3-43574] - Immunofluorescence analysis of paraformaldehyde fixed Caco-2 cells on coverslips stained with NBP3-43574 (1:100 dilution) for 1h followed by Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody (1:1000 dilution), showing membrane staining. The nuclear stain is DAPI (blue). Panels show, from left-right, top-bottom, NBP3-43574, DAPI, merged channels, and an isotype control. The isotype control was an unknown specificity antibody followed by staining with Alexa Fluor® 488 secondary antibody.Flow Cytometry: DOG1/TMEM16A Antibody (19F2) - Chimeric - BSA Free [NBP3-43574] -
Flow Cytometry: DOG1/TMEM16A Antibody (19F2) - Chimeric - BSA Free [NBP3-43574] - Caco-2 cells were stained with the anti-unknown specificity antibody (isotype control, black line) or NBP3-43574 (blue line) at a dilution of 1:100 for 1h at RT. After washing, the bound antibody was detected using a goat anti-rabbit IgG AlexaFluor® 488 antibody at a dilution of 1:1000, and the cells were analyzed using a FACSCanto flow-cytometer.Applications for DOG1/TMEM16A Antibody (19F2) - Chimeric - BSA Free
