FAQs for EBNA1 Antibody (E1-2.5) - BSA Free
-
Q: As a pathologist with a great deal of experience in immunohistochemistry and a long-standing research/diagnostic interest in EBV, I would be very interested in trying out your EBNA-1 antibody on a variety of EBV-positive FFPE human biopsy tissues. Assuming I can get good staining with your antibody, I will be happy to provide you with the staining protocol and several good images you can post on your website. Can you provide me some antibody to try out?
A: We highly appreciate your request and but I am really sorry as we would not be able to offer free samples of EBNA-1 antibodies at the moment. Our EBNA-1 antibody (0211 (6F9/60)) (NB100-66642) is well established and is useful for IHC-P as well. However, there are couple of other options also that you may find interesting. (1) Have you heard of our Innovators Reward Program? Under this program, if someone tests an antibody in an untested species/application and share results with us, Novus provides a 50% refund on the purchased product as well as a 50% discount on a future product of equal value in exchange for new data. EBNA1 Antibody (E1-2.5) (NB500-312) would be a good option if you wish to try our Innovators Reward program (2) It would be an honor to for us to collaborate with you on our projects involving our new antibodies. From time to time, I personally work on projects in which we send samples of newly launched antibodies to researchers with extensive expertise in a particular area for validation testing in different applications/species. If you let me know more about your other ongoing projects and current research interests, I can definitely look into our current new targets to see if we can work on any targets! Please let me know if this is something you are interested in.
