FAQs for Epinephrine ELISA Kit (Colorimetric)
-
Q: I would like to know if the next kit is a general specie kit or is it human specific. Our interest is in a chicken Epinephrine ELISA kit but also a general one.
A: In principle KA1882 can be used with samples from chicken, and that cross-reactivity should not be an issue. The lab did, however, raise a concern as to whether the levels of chicken epinephrine would fall within the detection limits of the kit, and they suggested that the customer may wish to consult the literature regarding this.
-
Q: My sample is serum from human being. I want to know whether the kit(KA1882) can detect my sample?
A: This ELISA kit is made by Abnova. We are their distributor in the United States. Their ELISA kit is an enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative determination of Adrenaline (Epinephrine) in plasma and urine. Other sample types have not yet been tested or validated. Since the kit is designed to detect epinephrine, there is no specificity with the kit. I will include a link to the protocol included with this ELISA kit for your reference: KA1882 Protocol.
-
Q: One of our customer would be interested in your kits: Dopamine ELISA Kit (KA1887) and Epinephrine ELISA Kit (KA1882). The customer is going to test mouse serum and plasma samples. Please, let me know if these kits could be use with mouse samples.
A: Both of these kits can be used with mouse urine and plasma samples very successfully.
