FK506 binding protein, 25 kDa molecular weight (FKBP25), also called FKBP3, is a peptidyl-prolyl isomerase that catalyzes the transition between cis- and trans-proline residues critical for proper folding of proteins. The macrolide immunosuppressant Rapamycin is a potent inhibitor of FKBP25. FKBP25 is localized in the nucleus, where it alters the activity of histone deacetylases and transcription factors. FKBP25 is found in many tissues, including the brain, thymus, and spleen.

Western Blot: FKBP25 Antibody [NBP3-18658]
Western Blot: FKBP25 Antibody [NBP3-18658] - Figure 2. Western blot analysis using the antibody directed against FKBP25 (1) Western blot was performed on whole cell lysates from mouse fibroblasts (NIH3T3) and embryonic stem cells (E14Tg2a) with the antibody against mouse FKBP25, diluted 1:500 in BSA/ PBS-Tween. The molecular weight marker (in kDa) is shown on the left; the location of the protein of interest (expected size: 25 kDa) is indicated on the right.ELISA: FKBP25 Antibody [NBP3-18658]
ELISA: FKBP25 Antibody [NBP3-18658] - Figure 1. Determination of the titer To determine the titer, an ELISA was performed using a serial dilution of the antibody directed against mouse FKBP25. The plates were coated with the peptide used for immunization of the rabbit. By plotting the absorbance against the antibody dilution (Figure 1), the titer of the antibody was estimated to be 1:5,400.Applications for FKBP25 Antibody
